1. Prerequisite for Participation in the Language Course

Participants must be literate. A basic understanding of English is required to follow instructions and course materials, although fluency is not necessary. Students must possess a functioning and accessible email and Zoom account. All courses are conducted online and require a functioning internet connection and Zoom compatible device. We recommend a minimum internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.

2. Registration for the Language Course

The registration must be completed in full, using the LMS website or via email (info@horizonlanguages.io) with Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. staff. The course fee must be paid in full one calendar week prior to course start using the payment gateways provided.

Registration and Payment Policy
Registration is considered complete once full payment is received at least one calendar week before the course start date. Payment guarantees your spot in the course.

If the minimum number of participants is not met or the course cannot take place for other reasons, Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. will inform registrants promptly. In such cases, participants may choose between:

• A full refund, processed within 14 business days; or

• A credit equivalent to the course fee, valid for up to 12 months, which can be applied to a future course or transferred to another individual.

Last-Minute Booking: If we can confirm your booking only 24 hours before the course begins, the Paypal payment gateway must be used. Weekend bookings are accepted, yet are not guaranteed to be processed on the same day.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the administrative complexity and impact on course planning, Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. does not offer refunds for any courses once payment is made. However, participants may reschedule their course (subject to availability) or transfer their fees as a credit towards a future course. This credit may be transferred to a third party without restrictions.

Exceptions:Refunds are only considered under extraordinary circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies or accidents) and must be supported by official documentation. Requests for refunds must be submitted via email (info@horizonlanguages.io) within seven calendar days of the course start date and must include the participant’s full name, course details, and supporting documentation (if applicable).

4. Subsequent Courses

Booking additional courses after completing a course at Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. follows the process outlined in section 2. Course spots are not automatically reserved.

5. Course Shortening

If the minimum number of six participants is not met, Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. reserves the right to shorten the course. Possible course shortening is based on a higher intensity of the class activity due to a smaller group.

6. Course Materials

All course materials (except personal class notes) shall be provided by Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. and included in the course fee.

7. Public Holidays

In principle, classes are not held on national public holidays. However, if the teacher and at least 60% of the students agree, the class may proceed. Missed course hours will be rescheduled at the discretion of Horizon Languages Pte Ltd.

8. Irregular Attendance

No refunds or course extensions will be granted for irregular attendance.

9. Photos and Videos

To respect the privacy and consent of all participants, photos and videos are not permitted during courses or excursions. If a student requests to record specific content, Horizon Languages Pte Ltd will endeavor to provide the material in an alternative format, where feasible, to ensure the privacy of others is maintained. However, this cannot be guaranteed in all cases.

10. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. However, Horizon Languages Pte Ltd. ensures compliance with all applicable EU consumer protection laws for participants residing in the European Union, including but not limited to refund rights and service guarantees.
